We are very excited and pleased to announce Ben Harris as an Official Brand Ambassador of Benny's of London.
Get to know Ben a little more and why we are so excited to have him on board.
Career to date – I first started elite sports in athletics, when I won the English Schools’ Junior Triple jump title. I then went on to focus on rugby where I played for the junior academy at London Irish until the age of 18. When I finished school, I went into the England 7s Program where I played around the world for just under two years. In my second season there, I was the youngest player to receive the England 7s Player of the year award at the age of 20. In the summer of 2020 after the pandemic , I signed for Saracens as the England 7s program was cut by the RFU. However, I still managed to go back to 7s one last time as I represented Team GB Rugby at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, my greatest achievement to date. I’m now back at Saracens working hard to break through here!
Achievements to date – England 7s, England 7s Player of the Year, Olympian (Tokyo 2020)
Goals and Ambitions – My next goal is to play for England XV side. I love the game of 7s and everything it has done for me but 15s is my focus now and the national team is what I’m aiming for.
